I still have no updates regarding this order. It feels as though you are allowing the seller to take advantage of customers — the very people who support and sustain your platform.
It is much harder to find honest buyers than it is to find sellers, and situations like this make buyers lose trust.Please put yourself in my position and imagine what it feels like to lose this amount of money simply for being trusting and believing that the platform would protect me. I am the sole provider for my family, and I cannot afford a loss like this. Do you really want honest buyers to be the ones who lose? A business cannot remain sustainable if it doesn’t protect its customers. Poshmark began with a strong reputation, but allowing situations like this to go unresolved damages trust and credibility.It would be deeply disappointing if you choose not to reach a fair resolution. If necessary, I will post an honest review of my experience, including the seller’s ID.
I am also prepared to file a Consumer Protection complaint, and as a last resort, I will contact my bank to initiate a refund with all supporting evidence — including clear photos of the grossly misrepresented items, the same ones I previously provided to you.This seller’s photos were clearly edited to hide flaws, and they are using their “ambassador” status as a shield. At this point, I would hesitate to purchase from any ambassador sellers, as this experience shows how easily the status can be misused.
Many of these sellers list thousands of items that do not meet buyer expectations, and this situation only reinforces that concern.I am simply asking for fairness based on the facts and the evidence. I hope Poshmark will do the right thing.
But out of anger, I threw 2 of them in the garbage, so I offered to return the 4 left and take the loss for the other I threw. But Poshmark closed the case saying they don't allow a return, so then refund for not right condition hoodies. And even returning it is not right because the seller will resell and rip someone else off with dumped items, as she already got 150 in minus Poshmark fees off my pocket, then she will get more from another buyer who trusts this dishonest person. So I filed a complaint with 3 companies and escalated the claims, and now I am waiting.
I do not recommend anybody this site that brags about purchases being insured, and yet they do nothing. I will go further if I have to. Lost 181.90 to a dishonest person and they want to wash their hands? No way.
Until this issue is solved, I will never purchase anything again. Because of the traumatic experience you put me through, now that I know a seller that inaccurately lists items, putting some flaws but not all flaws, and even after showing the not shown flaws and being honest and patient, you have proven to not care, turn your back on buyers that you promised to have their back. Now you will, it is not. As of now, I will never buy anything again, nor allow my daughter to purchase anything unless this issue is solved.
This matter will be a great lesson for her future! You know there are a lot more sellers than buyers. In fact, the number 1 reviews for Canada are that there are not enough buyers on the platform for thousands of sellers you have, so if you treat your customers so poorly, they will stop purchasing, and your business will crash. You need all the buyers you can find!
As I have seen sellers complain about sales being down already 50% lower than previous years and buyers complain about zero customer care or any human to talk to, they will stop buying and go elsewhere!
Canada's economy is at the edge of collapsing, so you want to keep your limited buyers happy for as long as it will last. So never buy anything ever until this order is refunded or credited back to my account for at least the 4 items I still have!

Poshmark service has gone down with them siding over the customers automatically than the good sellers. Not only that, but they do not investigate any proof or documents you provide.
I have been selling on Poshmark since around 2019-****. The first case started around May 2023. The buyer already had the item in their possession for some days. A week later, they placed a return stating the item delivered was not as advertised.
In the photos, the customer uploaded a pair of headphones that looked nothing like what I sent. When I replied to show that the headband material the customer uploaded was fake, she flipped it around on me. She uploaded multiple headphones, none of which looked like the pair shipped to her. Poshmark sided with the customer, even after I appealed and sent my invoice, photos, and videos.
Again, all used in my original listing to get told no, I won't be receiving the funds. Poshmark initiated the return of the item. Guess what? The customer gave a fake post office tracking number and I never received the item.
I reside in Chicago and the caller was in Texas. Yet, the return says it's being shipped from Chicago. When I reached back out to Poshmark to contact the customer, as she went MIA and blocked my profile once I saw I was the one being scammed, Poshmark initiated the return for the customer, but Poshmark never followed up. Instead, I was told, 'it's nothing we are able to do.' $300+ down the drain.
Poshmark still has never corrected this. The second incident occurred with a Gucci headband I was selling in August 2024. I have sold a couple of my designer headbands with no issues and 5-star reviews. This user did similar to my last incident, uploaded multiple headbands, none of which was what I sent!
This was similar as well except in this case they allowed for the customer to keep the funds and the item!
Out of $230+ for that order. Since then, I've stopped selling my high-end items on here.

I sold a pair of shoes through Poshmark, and when the earnings from the shoes went to Poshmark, I went to redeem the money to my bank. When I did that, Poshmark told me it would take 1-3 business days until I got my money.
I waited 5 business days and never received the money. We are now on day 5, and I'm still waiting for my money, which seems like I'll never receive.
So if I don't get my money for the shoes, send my shoes back. Those shoes weren't cheap at all, so I either need my money for the shoes or my shoes back in the same condition!

I have a couture Tom Ford blouse that I paid $2400 for at Neiman Marcus. I wore it 1 time.
They wanted to reduce my merchandise to $117. I could get more at an estate sale! And, it's suspicious that there is no phone number to speak to anyone at Podium. Maybe they are actually the ones purchasing the merchandise and reselling it for more.
I think this is a screwed-up business model.
If i had checked their reviews I would not have put my merchandise up for. Sale with them.

Returned unpurchased consignment items. DO NOT DEAL WITH POSHMARK CONSIGNMENT OR YOU WILL HAVE TO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR STATE'S ATTORNEY TO GET THE RETURN OF YOUR UNPURCHASED ITEMS AT "CONTACT" END.
Had items picked up 8/24/25 for Poshmark consignment. One of the items sold immediately; however, the other four have been sitting there for the balance of six (6) months.
I have repeatedly asked for the return of these items, to no avail.
I get no response from the person who was given my stuff to sell, nor Poshmark customer service. Their 'contract' says I can request the return of items after the term.

Their customer support is horrible. I received an item that was not as described.
The seller advertised a handbag as leather and it was not. After over a week, Poshmark has done absolutely nothing.
Dealing with similar issue. Always use a credit card and not a debit or gift card especially on this site.
If customer service declines, reach out to your card company giving them info on transaction and that you tried to use platform for a return but they declined (take screen shots of messages). Your CC will stand behind buyers receiving "items not as described" etc. We've had quite a few disappointing purchases so far and will no longer buy on this platform as it is "hit / miss". Recent purchase was faux but no way to tell from the seller write up or photos until we received and it was a vinyl with a fake leather stamping (there was a tag inside they omitted to share).
RUN from this site. We deleted our payment method, plan to download our purchase history and then deactivate the account. Here is response from Poshmark on why they declined return/refund: "Moving forward, we suggest asking clarifying questions in the comment section regarding the item prior to purchasing." How could we know to ask if there were any tags inside as we expect a seller to be transparent? Meanwhile, we have dealt with fake items, moth holes & tears not disclosed, shrunk clothing, cigarette smells, fake USPS tracking, not 925 jewelry.
RUN or you will be navigating the lack of customer support and relying on your CC company to get resolution. RUN!!!
