I was scammed out of $327.

I was scammed out of $326 from a company called Sunnies4less on Poshmark. On March 26th, I made a purchase, or rather $326 was taken from my account without my consent from this company.

I initially liked the item and requested to have the original price of $350 brought down to $300. The next morning the money was taken from my account without authorization. That was already a red flag! I held off on reporting the issue to by bank because it was an item that I really wanted.

Days later, I patiently waited for a tracking number from the company which was eventually sent to me after I raised concern to customer care. I was given a tracking number through USPS that showed the item was in NY and that it was waiting for a receipt from the seller in order for it to be processed and sent to me. The initial delivery date showed March 31st. However when tracked, it never left NY.

I contacted the seller and sent screenshots of the tracking information but no reply. I contacted customer care for the first time and received a response from the seller shortly after. I remained patient and hopeful as I looked out for my package that would never come.

On April 7th, I contacted customer care for the second time being that the purchase was in March. By this time, the delivery date showed for the same day (April 7th).

Customer support informed me that the post office was experiencing delays and that I should start seeing tracking by April 9th. They assured me that if after the 9th, the issue persisted, I should reach out to them again in which I did.

Let me just add that at some point during this horrific experience, I was promoted to accept the purchase (a message I thought I would have gotten way before the $326 vanished from my account). I assumed that the reason why the package was still in NY was because I needed to accept the purchase from my end. Behold it was apart of the scheme!

When I later went back to message the seller for the third or fourth time, a green check mark appeared next to the image of my order; which indicated that the order was completed. It even prompted me to leave a review.

I dont know how I am supposed to review for an imaginary item.

On April 10th, I contacted customer care again.

I even called the customer service number for Poshmark, but no avail. I found the sellers on Instagram and tried to message them privately but I was unable to because they do not accept DMs unless they follow you back.

To say the least, this has been a nightmare of an experience and I am very upset and disappointed! I would never recommend shopping at Sunnies4less nor using any third party app such as Poshmark for your shopping experience.

Up until now I have yet to receive the item, an updated tracking number, a response from the seller, or even my full refund of $326 back from the company.

When you asked if they would take $300 you authorized the payment from your bank, plus tax. When you said you received it, that was your mistake. At that time Poshmark released the payment to the seller.

Would not count on customer service to deal with your issue fairly. They only care about their percentage.

My case was CLEARLY a scam by the seller. I provided all kinds of photographic evidence, and they blew me off.

Bought a sweater which was described by a company-type photo, and when it was received it turned out that it had been washed, was very shrunken, and was well below the size described. The sleeves were supposed to be below the wrist (and I'm 5'3") and they came to just below my elbows.

Maybe a 10-yr-old could wear it. I of course tried to file a complaint, but in trying to file one, it was suddenly shown as a done deal, and that I had "accepted" it. I was furious, and then customer service had the nerve to tell me that it was received as described.

I'm out $170 and feel totally ripped off, and the customer service is preposterous and insulting. Never again, I will avoid Poshmark like the plague.

This person sharie hayes on poshmark has scammed me I received a empty package today at 8:02 am I paid 305.25 on a real human hair wig and never received it first she said the package got lost at the post office now Im receiving a empty package I have tried contacting poshmark but nobody answers they have a case open on it now hopefully something gets done about this person cause they are fraud now the seller is trying to get away with this and when she messages only I can get her messages and I cant comment back shes trying to claim Im lying about receiving a empty package this morning WHICH IM NOT I HAVE WITNESSES WHO SAW ME EXIT THE POST OFFICE WITH AN EMPTY PACKAGE I HAVE NEVER HAD A ISSUE BEFORE THIS ON POSHMARK BUT I WILL NEVER BE USING THIS SITE AGAIN IF I DONT GET MY MONEY BACK I have reported to cash app and poshmark still havent heard anything this woman needs to be stopped she is scamming people at least she did me of $305.25 why can she comment to me but I cant comment back this is *** the package I received was empty and had scribbles on the side and says wave in scribbles also three times who does this? I purchased an item described as being in excellent condition. When I received it, it had large and small grease-like stains.

I sent pictures to the resolution team and the seller, but it was ruled in the seller's favor, whose response was that I was showing another exactly the same item that I got from somewhere else. It's absolutely baseless and ridiculous and absolutely irresponsible! Then I sent more pictures of the item, front and back, so customer service could identify the item that is exactly the same as the seller's pictures. And I offered to send as many more pictures as needed to make an accurate judgment.

Unfortunately, once the item is purchased, you can't open the listing anymore to see the pictures the seller had and prove you received the same item, not another one looking like it. Then suddenly, the case was ruled in the seller's favor, and I'm left stuck with a flawed item that I paid too high a price for without any options. I can't reach customer service on the phone. It's only a mailbox that is full, and I can't leave a message.

It doesn't seem I can find or reach anyone for any help or explanation or some sort of evidence on which the ruling was based.

Nothing!!! It's the most unfair platform for buyers!!!

I bought a pair of new Donald Pliner shoes. I do not know how old they were, but I wore them the next day.

By the end of the day, the inside of the sole had completely crumbled leaving the shoe uneven, uncomfortable and unwearable with powdery stuff leaking out. Poshmark is stating its my fault and will not grant me a refund.

User's recommendation: Do not deal with PM. There’s no phone # to call. When you email them, they ignore your issue. There is no protection for the buyer at all. I think these were fake Donald Pliners.

Bought a frame from a seller than the frame won't stand up. I filed a claim and they said send a photo I did then they said send a video I did 3 times and they ended up siding with the seller.

Breeding ground for a bunch of theives.

I'm closing my account. Stay away from this place unless you like getting ripped off.

Ordered the yellow and black shoes and paid through PayPal $153 and some change on the 5th of March. I saw on the sellers site that she ships same day!

Well I metioned that to her and she responded " oh I shipped that out and thought that you already received them" I responded that I never received tracking information then she says " I'll get in touch with USPS and find out tomorrow " I asked why she hadn't done that already and she stop taking messages from me! So what she has done is assigned a tracking label but has no intention of sending them! I really don't think she ever had them. So of course I've tried to contact the support team at poshmark with absolutely NO help from them!

No email, no text message no nothing!

Today is the 12th of March and i don't know where my money is ,i don't know where my shoes are im just out back! So ive contacted an attorney to find out what all i can do!

I send them an email as you can not get hold of via phone calls. They returned my item back to me with no action toward the buyer. I think she should be blocked from purchasing and for lying.

I sell high-end items and I believe anything above a certain amount goes to the authentication department, then to the buyer. My problem now is with the return.

Why does Poshmark accept the buyer's word over mine and authorize a return for the buyer when the buyer flat out lied? I received the return back and clearly the buyer lied about the shoe size. She told Poshmark no size is stamped on the shoes, but both shoes are stamped with the size and I sent pictures to Poshmark. How otherwise could I come up with the size in my listing?

Very frustrating, and Poshmark's practice is worse than eBay. At least eBay answers calls.

To close the Poshmark account via the app, go to your Account and select Poshmark Support Center. Here, click Delete My Account under Manage Account Status. You will be asked to choose a reason before clicking to Delete My Account. The confirmation is finalized once you click Yes. To delete the account via an internet browser, initiate Poshmark login and go to Account Settings. The following step is to select Manage Account Status and select Delete My Account. Specify the reason and then click Yes to confirm.
