Poshmark has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with in my entire life. If customer service is important to you, do NOT sign up for Poshmark...because if you have ANY problem on that site, you're screwed.

They do NOT care and they will NOT help you and they will rudely let you know it. And not only that but whatever the problem is, they'll blame YOU for it. To be fair, everything will be fine as long as you don't have a problem. But if you do (and at some point, you will), they'll turn on you, regardless if you're the seller or the buyer.

I know all this from all the other bad reviews I've read about, from people I know who had their own bad experiences, and from my own bad experience. Luckily, I haven't lost any money like most of the people have who have written bad reviews have but here's what happened to me...I signed up for Poshmark a couple of months ago. They had a deal where the shipping/handling was free for first-time buyers. I took advantage of that offer and ordered something and I was hooked.

So I ordered something else and was happy with that purchase as well and was planning on ordering alot of stuff. They have a referral program and I was so happy with the site that I referred 11 friends/family members to Poshmark. Five of them signed up thru my referrals. They had all planned to try it out and buy something because Poshmark offers first-time buyers a discounted rate for shipping/handling (currently 99 cents).

All 5 of them told me Poshmark wouldn't give them the first-time buyer's rate because they were told they were connected to my account and therefore were committing fraud. They all commented about how rude customer service was in their emails and they all deleted their accounts. So I wrote customer service and wanted to know what the problem was with my referrals and they wrote me back and accused ME of committing fraud! All I did was refer these people to Poshmark.

They all had their own device, their own account, their own email account, their own PayPal/credit card info, their own home address, their own everything. And Poshmark accused ALL of us of fraud. We don't even know what their definition of fraud is--and they won't tell us. All we wanted to do was buy stuff thru Poshmark and they basically told us to get lost.

And now I have to feel bad because these people can NEVER get the first-time buyer's rate for no other reason than I made the mistake of referring them to Poshmark. It's just the principle of the thing. I cancelled my account too. I also told the other 6 people I gave a referral to, to not even bother signing up because it would be a waste of time.

I'm embarrassed I ever referred anyone to this site. Poshmark is losing quite a bit of business over this because I had planned on buying alot of stuff from this site on a regular basis and the 5 people who signed up per my referral are shopaholics too. One was even planning on selling stuff on Poshmark. But after reading all these other bad reviews from people who lost money on Poshmark, I'm thinking it's probably a blessing in disguise.

Poshmark has the worst, rudest, meanest customer service I've ever encountered. I don't know how they even stay in business.

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Poshmark Pros: Unique hard-to-find items.

Poshmark Cons: Customer service.

Location: Queen Creek, Arizona

Did you just quit Poshmark after this experience? If so, did you have money that you deposited? Dealing with the same thing and wondering if Iโ€™ll get my money?
